    This Gametrackers lodge tour visits Kenya’s first established game park – Amboseli with its majestic backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro promising postcard perfect photos; the world famous bird and rhino sanctuary which is Lake Nakuru national park, then South over the Mau Escarpment to Kenya’s greatest concentration of game – the Masai Mara.

    Tour scheduled to depart on any day with a minimum of 2 persons!

    Day 1 – Amboseli

    Pick up from your hotel in the morning and drive south through Masai country to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. After a stopover lunch at the lodge/ tented camp we enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge in the evening for a sun downer and dinner. With the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro (on clear days), spectacular displays of wildlife – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and various plains’ game, you are sure to collect a gallery of amazing pictures.

    Day 2 – Amboseli

    After a dawn game drive, we return to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the morning is spent at leisure or by the swimming pool. Lunch and final game drive in the late afternoon beneath the snow capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. At 329 sq km Amboseli is a small park and lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Mara, but the landscape provides limited cover so we have better chances of seeing some of the larger predators. You also have the option of visiting a Masai village. Dinner and overnight back at the lodge or tented camp.

    Day 3 – Amboseli / Rift Valley / Lake Nakuru

    After an early breakfast, we drive towards the Great Rift Valley, to Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch en route arriving Nakuru in the late afternoon. Check into your lodge/ tented camp in time to freshen up and dinner.

    Day 4 – Nakuru to Naivasha

    Early morning breakfast followed by a morning game drive in Nakuru national park. We depart at leisure towards Naivasha with either packed lunches or arrive in time for lunch at your lodge in Naivasha. Naivasha has numerous optional activities available (payable direct); you may visit Elsamere conservation centre, enjoy a walk around the lake, visit crater lake game sanctuary, take a boat ride to Crescent island game park or visit Hells gate for a challenging gorge walk. Dinner and overnight back in the comforts of your lodge or tented camp.

    Day 5 – Naivsha to Mara

    After an early breakfast we depart towards Narok town and the Great Masai mara game reserve with packed lunches. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning in time for a refreshing and relaxing sun downer and dinner at the lodge/ tented camp.

    Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest, elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal as well as cheetahs and leopards which are harder to spot.

    Day 6 & 7 – Masai Mara

    The following 2 days will be spent enjoying the luxuries of the lodge, game viewing and absorbing the amazing sceneries. You may opt to do additional activities offered at the lodges as well. For example; balloon trips are an entirely outstanding way of seeing the savannah plains and the wildlife after which you come back down for a beautiful champagne breakfast. You may also visit a local Masai village or school just outside the reserve. Picnic lunches and night game drives can also be arranged at some properties. Dinner and overnight back at the lodge/ tented camp.

    Day 8 – Nairobi

    Early morning game drive before departing back towards Nairobi with packed lunches arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or airport depending on your arrangements. END OF SERVICES.
