Lewa Pejeta Naivasha Safari will have you travelling northwards looking out for the majestic Mount Kenya before arriving at Lewa conservancy, the best spot to view white and Black Rhinos as well as Grevy Zebras. We visit Ol Pejeta conservancy which is the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya as well visits to the last two white rhinos. Our journey continues to the Rift valley lakes of Nakuru and Naivasha which are home to diverse birdlife before settling in at one of the Masai mara conservancies – Mara Naibosho for wildlife viewing.

Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi - Lewa wildlife Conservancy

We start our Lewa Pejeta Naivasha Safari in the morning and head north via the shoulder of Africa’s second largest mountain, Mt Kenya. Look out for Mt Kenya peaks jutting through the clouds. We make a brief stop at the equator point and Nanyuki town for some last-minute shopping before proceeding to Lewa wildlife conservancy.

We drive game- viewing along the way to the luxury safari camp for check in and lunch. Relax after lunch and then go out on a late afternoon game drive. Return to the camp for sundowner and overnight stay.

Lewa boasts the most outstanding views in northern Kenya and is home to over 200 endangered black rhinos, white rhinos, Grevy’s Zebras, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Elephants, Jackal and variety of birds. The conservancy supports and works well with the neighboring communities in view of enhancing wildlife conservation and improving their quality of life.

Day 2Lewa Conservancy

Spend the day game viewing in Lewa conservancy. You may enjoy spectacular views of the surroundings on outdoor breakfast or sundowners. Other optional activities available at the conservancy include, guided walking safari, horse riding, night game drive, camel riding and/or Il Ngwesi Cultural village visit.

Day 3Lewa – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

We check out after breakfast and proceed to Ol-pejeta conservancy located on the foothills of Mt. Kenya. Enjoy a game drive and a visit to the Rhino and Chimpanzee sanctuaries.

The Ol Pejeta Conservancy holds some of the highest predator densities in Kenya. The lions are the most numerous of the big cats, with six resident prides bringing the total lion population to 72. The Conservancy is also home to around 30 cheetahs, and 20 elusive Leopards. Spotted hyena (population around 100), Black-Backed Jackal, Caracal and the Bat-Eared Fox can also be found here as well as numerous herbivores. Diner and overnight at a luxury camp.

Day 4Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Full day game- viewing with/or optional activities offered by Ol Pejeta which you can book directly with us:-

Optional activities include: – night game drive, escorted bush walks (based on ranger’s availability), private visit to the White Rhinos, Horseback Riding, Lion Tracking, Dog tracking etc.

Day 5Ol Pejeta Conservancy- Lake Naivasha

Breakfast at leisure before we depart Ol Pejeta conservancy and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley; to a Private ranch in Naivasha. There is the option to make a stop at Nyahururu Falls (Thompson falls). This is a 72m plunge waterfall on the Ewaso Narok River near the equator in Kenya’s Aberdare Range which was discovered in 1883 by Joseph Thomson, a Scottish geologist and naturalist. We arrive in the afternoon shortly after lunch. We explore the ranch in the late afternoon or enjoy a boat ride on the lake.

Day 6Lake Naivasha

Day spent exploring the ranch & Lake Naivasha area through optional activities offered by the lodge.

You have an option to visit: Lake Nakuru National Park and / or Hells Gate National Park, Elementaita and The Eburu Forest Reserve & Bongo conservation area as well as local flower farms, the local school, bird-watching and even to Crescent Island [entrance fees are paid direct].

Day 7Naivasha to Mara Naibosho Conservancy

After an early breakfast depart for Mara Naibosho conservancy. The conservancy is an exceptional wildlife area with low density tourism numbers. We drive to the luxury camp for check in with an enroute game drive. Lunch followed by an evening game –viewing. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 & 9Mara Naibosho Conservancy

The following two days will be spent enjoying Naibosho conservancy wildlife and absorbing the amazing sceneries, through early morning and late afternoon game-drives.

Game drives are rewarding all year round. It is common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal as well as Cheetahs and Leopards which are harder to spot.

There are various optional activities offered outside of game drives. For example; balloon trips are an entirely outstanding way of seeing the savannah plains and the wildlife after which you come back down for a beautiful champagne breakfast. Horse riding is also an option in vast open spaces dotted with lonely Umbrella Acacias, masses of Wildebeest, dazzles of Zebras and other wildlife. Bush meals and guided walks are also offered in the company of the local Masai guides. You may also visit a local Maasai village or school just outside the reserve.

Day 10Mara to Nairobi by Flight

We finalize the Lewa Pejeta Naivasha Safari with a pre-dawn game drive followed by a full breakfast. We transfer to the nearby airstrip transfer for a short flight back to Nairobi. End of services.
