After a dawn game drive, we return to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the morning is spent at leisure or by the swimming pool. Lunch and final game drive in the late afternoon beneath the snowcapped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

At 329 sq km Amboseli National Park is a small park and lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Maasai Mara, but the landscape provides limited cover so we have better chances of seeing some of the larger predators. There is also a small seasonal lake that comes to life after rains with the vibrant shade of pink from flamingoes!

You also have the option of visiting a Maasai village to get an understanding of the Maasai way of life and customs.
Dinner and overnight back at the lodge.

Day 6Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Early breakfast before departing back towards Nairobi.

Before departure there is the option to enjoy a nature walk in the company of a Maasai safari guide. This is the best way of getting closer to nature and its wildlife. Your safari guide armed with traditional Maasai spear and club will walk you through the local area where all your senses will be put into action at every step. Smell the plants used in traditional medicines, taste some of the edible wild fruits, listen to the birds and the grunting of the Impala, identify footprints and animal spoor.

Alternatively; enjoy a final game drive in the park as we depart back towards Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon. Drop off back at your accommodation.
