Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi to Sagana

Meet in Nairobi city center and depart towards the Central Highlands for a fun filled day in the Tana river and at Jangwani camp where we pitch up camp for the night.

The rafting experience is suitable for beginners and children alike! Additionally, you will get close to the scenic Jangwani falls and an adventurous swim into a small cave behind the biggest fall. Everyone will be fully equipped and ready to face the exhilarating experience! (Lunch and Dinner Included)

Optional Activities: Archery, Nature Walk and Cycling. Unwind after the busy day with your favorite drink by the Bonfire.

Day 2Sagana to Ngare Ndare

Early breakfast before breaking up camp and departing towards Nanyuki looking out for Mount Kenya peeking from the clouds. After a brief photo stop at the equator point we continue towards Ngare Ndare Forest. Ngare Ndare Forest is a lush indigenous forest at the foothills of Mt. Kenya. Azure pools glisten at the bottom of waterfalls and 200 year old trees stretch into the canopy supporting a rich variety of bird and animal life. Enjoy both swimming and a high canopy walk which offers a bird’s eye view of the forest where one can view elephants and other wild animals drinking water from the swamp below. We return back to Nanyuki and settle into the camp for dinner and overnight by the campfire. Enjoy a night on the town at your leisure. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 3Nanyuki to Nairobi

Breakfast at leisure and for those who are feeling active; there is the option to visit nearby Bantu lodge to enjoy a guided walk to the Mau mau caves at the foothills of Mt Kenya. This pleasant hike is 9kms in duration taking approximately 3 – 4 hours depending on fitness levels passing through wild bushes and indigenous forest home to baboons and various birds.

We rejoin those left at camp for a final lunch before departing back to Nairobi to arrive in the early evening. End of services.
