This Classic Safari is perfect for all of you wishing to experience the majesty of Tanzania and Kenya: The Mount Kilimanjaro Plains; Ngorongoro Crater to the Serengeti National Park with all its magnificent wildlife; Lake Victoria with its sunsets and hundreds of birdlife; the Maasai Mara where you spend your days amongst vast herds of animals and birds; then your last few days will be spent between Lake Nakuru and Lake Bogoria, where you may enjoy sightings of the largest populations of the lesser Flamingoes and various other bird species.

Tour Details

Your first stop in Kenya is Amboseli, in the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where you will enjoy game drives: at 329 sq km Amboseli is a small park and lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Mara, but the landscape provides limited cover so we have better chances of seeing some of the larger predators.

From here you will be taken to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania: the area contains over 25,000 large animals including 26 Black Rhinoceros. There are 7,000 Wildebeests, 4,000 Zebras, 3,000 Eland and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s Gazelles. The crater also has the densest known population of Lions so expect an amazing experience.

It is onto the Serengeti National Park, Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s largest park covering 14,736 sq km. With a Wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species, it’s sure to attract a string of prey; Lions, Hyenas, Jackals to name but a few.

After enjoying the vast Serengeti, we head towards Lake Victoria where you will be able to enjoy your private beach, take a boat ride to the neighboring islands or simply watch the sun go down on the lake and enjoy the quintessential and unique African sunset.

The next three days is spent in the Maasai Mara, Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve: you will be able to spend your time following the Wildebeest migration herds depending on the time of year.

The final few days are spent between Lake Nakuru and Lake Bogoria, both Lakes are national parks with different and diverse habitats: Lake Nakuru is small, only 180kms square and is home to Rhino, some elusive Leopards, Baboons and Rock Hyraxes. Lake Bogoria is known as “The healing place” and is home to one of the largest populations of the lesser Flamingoes making a lovely hue of pink.
