Highlights

For those of you wishing to get a flavor of Kenya, with little time to do so, then this whirlwind of a trip to Amboseli is perfect for you. Big Game watching, daily bush walks with Maasai Guides, Birdwatching and Cultural visits to a local Maasai Village where you will be given a taste of a typical day in a Maasai community.

Tour Details

We begin our trip with an early morning pick up and head towards Merreushi Ranch, close to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for a leisurely lunch. You will be able to choose from a selection of activities in the afternoon:

  • Daily bush walking safari lead by the Maasai warriors
  • Bird watching safari
  • Visit a Maasai Tribal Village and experience the Maasai way of life
  • Meet with Maasai Village Elders and the Women Cooperative
  • Visit the local school and Village Health Center

After all these activities, your first evening is spent round a campfire, sipping sundowners, sharing stories and enjoying the African night sky in all its glory.

On your second day we load our jeeps with picnic boxes and drinks for a full day game drive in Amboseli, under the gaze of Mount Kilimanjaro, where you will be able to see the vast herds of Elephants that live in the park. Here you can enjoy exploring the five different habitats that exist within the park and all its spectacular displays of wildlife; Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Rhinos, Cheetah, Buffalo and various Plains’ Game. You can be assured that this is where postcard perfect pictures are guaranteed.

Your third and final morning is spent bush walking with Maasai Warriors and will be your final opportunity to get up close and personal with wildlife such as Giraffes, Zebras, Wildebeest, Gazelles and over 400 species of birds that roam freely in this unspoiled land. Returning from the hike, we’ll enjoy our last breakfast together before returning to Nairobi.
