Highlights
Taking the less travelled route through Tanzania and Rwanda visiting the Tarangire National Park, home to numerous Elephants, then to Lake Manyara Park with its rich birdlife and Tree Climbing Lions. From there it is onwards to the Serengeti following the migrating herds as they travel the plains in search of new grazing, spending the last couple of days in Tanzania, perched 7,500 ft above sea level, on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. After descending into the crater to discover a few of the 25,000 animals that live here, it is then into Rwanda to explore the Virunga Foothills and Rainforest to experience the Rwandan Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat.
