After a stopover lunch at the lodge we enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge in the evening for a sun downer and dinner. With the majestic backdrop of Mt. Days 2Amboseli National Park

After a dawn game drive, we return to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the morning is spent at leisure or by the swimming pool. Lunch and final game drive in the late afternoon beneath the snowcapped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

At 329 sq km Amboseli is a small park and lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Maasai Mara, but the landscape provides limited cover so we have better chances of seeing some of the larger predators. There is also a small seasonal lake that comes to life after rains with the vibrant shade of pink from Flamingoes!

You also have the option of visiting a Maasai village to get an understanding of the Maasai way of life and customs.
Dinner and overnight back at the lodge.

As dusk ensues; enjoy a cool drink by the rock-built bar overlooking the animal waterhole. Here you are guaranteed a sighting of antelopes and other plains game as they come to drink and cool off at the waterhole.

Night is the exclusive domain of the hunters such as Leopards and Lions. It is the only time when you may catch a glimpse of such elusive nocturnal creatures as Aardvark, Aardwolf and Lumo West Conservancy’s melanistic serval cat. Your vehicle will be equipped with a powerful handheld lamp used to sweep the bush for sightings.
